Another custom order here, this time of the client’s very own private view overlooking South Beach in Edgartown. This paper illustration is sized at 20×16″ and framed in a handmade cherry shadowbox.

With 12 different varieties of greens to paint, and sporting white hydrangeas instead of the typical blues and purples you usually see, this piece was all about getting the colors just right and working in harmony with eachother throughout the whole illustration.

Other details to note: of course the hydrangeas wound up being the upstaging show stoppers in this one, but that little building in the back? Hands down the smallest house and flagpole I’ve made to date.
