My first time giving the traditional one year anniversary gift of paper to a couple.

This custom order was to commemorate the couple’s wedding day, complete with the bride’s favorite flowers, and wedding color scheme of blush and white. The piece came to 18×14″ and was framed in that favorite charred black frame of mine.

Between teaching myself a new technique with paper flower-making on the roses, and arguably the most detailed, intricate, single piece of cutting on that gate, this custom order definitely pushed my limits!

Although the tiny, fluttering butterflies may still steal the show in the end…
