Edgartown Lighthouse at Sunset

Edgartown Lighthouse at Sunset

My first time making an island lighthouse piece in 3D, instead of just a flat silhouette!

Wanting to make the iconic view my own, I decided to “zoom out” and focus on the whole scene, instead of a closer look focusing on the lighthouse alone. So I brought in a lot of that grassy beachy watery path down to the lighthouse leading to that focal point in the piece.

Also: I actually made the lighthouse itself curve around to be a round shape, and not flat, which really added so much to the final look!

Sized a bit smaller, this original shadowbox was 12×9″ when done, and while the original has sold I sell archival prints of it along with (new!) puzzles of it as well!
